Whether you're dining on our cozy patio, grabbing takeout, ordering delivery, or booking catering, you'll experience authentic Texas BBQ made the old-fashioned way. We smoke our meats low and slow over a real wood-burning pit fueled by post oak, right here on-site. Every side, dessert, sauce, and seasoning blend is made from scratch using our own original recipes.
What sets us apart? Our unique blend of spices. While traditional Texas BBQ often relies on salt and pepper, we've developed our own signature flavors that keep customers coming back for more. Our sweet and tangy BBQ sauce is so good we've actually seen people drink it straight from the cup! Looking for some heat? Try our homemade Mango Habanero sauce.
Our journey began in 2017 when we launched a BBQ food truck in Lockhart, the BBQ Capital of Texas. After David was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, BBQ became more than a business—it became a purpose. We quickly found success on the competition circuit and earned the respect and support of all four legendary Lockhart BBQ establishments. Along the way, we were featured in publications including Food & Wine Magazine.
After three years in Lockhart, we spent a year serving at the Austin VA Outpatient Clinic, donating 20% of our sales to support our veterans. When COVID changed everything, we adapted by serving local neighborhoods, HOAs, and apartment communities before eventually finding a home in the San Antonio food scene.

When the opportunity came to return home to New Braunfels and open our restaurant on Walnut Avenue, we jumped at it. Shortly after opening in September, we received a rave review from the Texas Hill Country Reporter, which was later featured on SA News and led to recognition in several additional publications.
